Getting to the Gulgong Folk Festival:
Gulgong is in the Central West district of New South Wales, appx. 300kms / 4 hours drive from Sydney.
By Car: From Sydney, drive through the Blue Mountains to Lithgow. Follow signs towards Bathurst and soon after leaving Lithgow take the Mudgee turn off from the Great Western Highway. Follow the signs as you drive through Mudgee. Gulgong is half an hour north of Mudgee.
By Bus: Countrylink buses run from Lithgow railway station.
By Air: Aeropelican offers daily air services from Sydney.
